Microsoft releases monthly updates for windows the second Tuesday of every month. It is vitally important and your responsibility to have you machine current with all patches and updates before your assigned shift. Agents who are unable to login due to failure to update windows will be coded as unexcused for the time taken to get the update installed.

Workbooth will check and verify during the normal scan process that you have windows updates installed. If during the scan process Workbooth recognizes that all updates are not installed on your machine you will receive a Warning message. Please select continue anyway to log into Workbooth.

Please note that if you receive one of the warning messages, it means your windows needs to be updated and, you need to update your windows outside of your shift at your earliest convenience. For more assistance with updating your windows please reference the following Link: Run Windows Update.

If updates are stuck, following the steps in the link above will let you know if the updates are up to date.

We are asking agents to keep their computers on overnight at least once every 2 weeks to allow time for your PC to automatically run Windows updates. Please allot ample time (1-2hrs) since updates takes time to complete. You should disconnect/logout of Workbooth but stay in the TT2Go desktop/environment where your Go To Work application is located. Be sure to leave the USB drive connected. After getting the windows updates on the TT2Go drive, it may prompt for a reboot. Please reboot and do not turn off your computer, then wait for the updates to finish installing. Once the updates are completed, you should turn off the computer by going to
START → Power Button → Shut down.

We fully expect that you will have these updates “patches” installed before the start of any assigned shift. Agents who are unable to login due to failure to update windows will be coded as unexcused for the time taken to get the Windows update installed.
