TT2Go @Home 3.0 – Installing the USB Drive for Windows 8.1

A. Purpose

The aim of this document is to provide basic guidelines on how to download, install and configure the USB Drive with the TeleTech® Windows to Go Operating System (TT2Go @Home 3.0).

B. Before you begin


  • Windows 7 cannot be used, only Windows 8.1 64-bit and Windows 10 64-bit.
  • To have the USB Drive (3.0 or 3.1).
  • USB ports on your computer and your internet speed may play an important role (the whole process may take from 20 minutes to more than 2 hours).
  • Have your computer ready with the latest windows update.
  • Close all programs.
I M P O R T A N T !
Make sure all USB drives or any other USB devices are removed (except keyboard and mouse).

C. Downloading and Installing the image


      1. Unplug the headset.
      2. Do not put the USB Drive into a USB Hub.
      3. USB 3.0 would be ideal, preferable on the opposite side of the keyboard and mouse.

      4. Open Internet Explorer browser.
      5. Copy or Type this link to get the image (case sensitive):
      6. Click on the Run button.

    It may take several minutes to download, depending on your computer and your internet speed.
      1. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) window message, click on Yes button to allow it.

    To begin with the installation of the image, insert the USB drive and do the following:
    An additional step (for Windows 8.1) is required after extracting the file.
    I M P O R T A N T : Please, do not close the black background window!

    On the next window, Windows 8.1 requires you to run Setup.bat file manually.
    To do that, you require to do the following steps:
    1. Go to C:TT2GoTemp folder.
    2. Right-click to setup.bat file and run as administrator.
    3. Once that the script completes, you can press any key on this window to continue.

    4. First, open File Explorer, press Win + E keys.
    5. Click the drive C:.

    6. Next, double-click the folder TT2Go.

    7. Double-click on the Temp folder.

    8. Right-click on the Setup.bat file and run it as administrator.

    9. If you have the User Account Control message, click on Yes to allow it.

    10. When you have this screen, it may take more than 15 minutes, depending on your computer and your internet speed…

    11. Enter your Oracle ID and press the Enter key.

      NOTE: If you are a new hire and you don’t know your Oracle ID, please refer to the Welcome and/or Reminder email.
    12. Now the message that appears reads: “WARNING: This next step will erase all data from the drive displayed! Please verify the drive is correct before proceeding!”

      Make sure the USB Drive is the only device plugged in. Failure to do this step could result in losing your important data.

      Type Y and press the Enter key or just press the Enterkey.

    13. You may have another Warning message like this.
      Type Y and press the Enter key or just press the Enterkey.

    14. This stage of the process may vary in time depending on your USB ports (3.0 is much faster than 2.0), the processor and your internet speed.

      I M P O R T A N T !
      Please don’t close nor interrupt the process.
    15. Once it is 100% complete, press the enter key and this window closes.

You have successfully created your TT2Go USB drive!
You can close all windows.
