How to Log into Humanify

The Humanify Agent Helper app gets deployed automatically to the AtHome systems by policy.
There is no need to manually update or install the application during TCI or the first boot of TT2Go.
Please ignore any notification about the Agent Helper App being outdated.

Humanify upgrade process


If you get the known error message after you log into the Humanify site: “SIP phone has lost connection with the system”.

  1. Pressing the F5 key or clicking on the reload button will bring the “Missing app” error message and the Agent Helper Chrome Extension will not be enabled.20190725-02humaupgr
  2. First, close Chrome (click on the X button located on the upper right corner).
    Open again Chrome. It will prompt to have the extension enabled.

  3. Once the extension is enabled, you can log in and use the Humanify site as usual.

  4. You will see as usual, the Agent Desktop Chrome Extension icon at the upper right corner.

How to log in and configure Humanify

 

Scenario A. First time you ever open Google Chrome Browser.

  1. When you open the Google Chrome browser, notice that on the upper right corner you have this icon in yellow.

  2. Click on it and select New extension added (Agent Desktop Chrome Extension).

  3. Next, click on Enable Extension button.

  4. Lastly, note that you have this icon (the Agent Desktop Chrome Extension).

Scenario B. If you open Google Chrome browser and the icon (Agent Desktop Chrome Extension) is not present.

If you open the Google Chrome browser and notice that on the upper right corner you don’t have this icon (the Agent Desktop Chrome Extension), follow these steps:

 

  1. Click on Customize and control Google Chrome menu.

  4. Lastly, note that you have this icon (the Agent Desktop Chrome Extension).

Error Messages

You may have any of these error messages:

Error: Microphone and speakers are not recognized // SIP phone has lost connection with the system.

Reason:

  • This happens when you are having problems with the network or when the Humanify software is being updated.

Solution:

  • Please refresh the page by pressing the F5 Key. If the problem persists, contact ASD support.

Error: Microphone is not recognized.

Reason:

  • This happens when your headset is not recongized by Chrome.

Solution:

  • Please try to connect the headset in another available USB port. If the problem persists, contact ASD support.
